    Jack W. Carney-DeBord

    Jack is a practicing attorney and has been for the past 20 years; a teacher and coach for the past 30 years; an entrepreneur and Associate Scout for the Texas Rangers. Jack has been a guest on Channel 6 News' "Ask the Attorney" program. He is the author of three legal books and publisher of the “Not so Legal-Monthly Newsletter.” Past President of the Delaware County Bar Association. He is a certified mediator; 1978 graduate of Denison University; a 1980 graduate of Eastern Michigan University and a 1991 graduate of Capital Law School. Jack is married to Nan Carney-DeBord, Denison University's Athletic Director and Denison graduate of 1980. Jack has two kids, TJ and Tyler, and one dog, Gus. They reside in Granville after living in Delaware for the past 27 years.

  • Head Coach

    • Andy Revell

      Andy Revell

      Andy Revell returns for his second season as the head coach of the Settlers after leading the team to its first ever Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League championship in 2012.

    • A native of Dothan, AL, Revell attended Albertville High School. Following high school he was a two-year starter at Snead State Community College in Alabama, where he also earned his Associates Degree in Psychology. Revell transferred to the University of Montevallo in 2008 where he was two-year starter. In 2009, he posted a .365 batting average and led Montevallo in both doubles and RBI. He graduated from Montevallo with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology.

    • Revell served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of West Alabama for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, where he served as infield defensive instructor and assisted with hitting instruction. In 2012 he led UWA to a .964 fielding percentage, good for 2nd best in the Gulf South Conference.  He assumed Manager duties from former Licking County Settlers coach Devin McIntosh in 2012, and in his first season as Manager led the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League Southern All-Star team in the league’s annual All-Star game, and later led the Settlers to their first ever GLSCL championship.

    • Matthew Magee

      Matthew Magee

      A native of Petal, MS, Magee attended Petal High School. Following high school he was a two-year starter at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS. In 2011, Magee earned All-MACJC South Division honors after batting .333 while leading the team with 8 homeruns, 11 doubles, and a .599 slugging percentage. Magee transferred to the University of West Alabama in 2011 where he was a two-year starter. Magee was named to the National Collegiate College Baseball Writers Association to the Division II Preseason All-South Region First Team. In 2013, he posted a .296 batting average and led the Tigers in hits, doubles, runs, triples, and was second in RBI. He plans to graduate from West Alabama in December 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.

    • Joe Noro

      Joe Noro

      Graduated from Fox Chapel HS in Fox Chapel, PA. Started his collegiate playing career at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Alabama as a starting pitcher. Received all region honors as a sophomore going 10-1 with a 3.49 ERA. He continued playing at the University of Montevallo as both a starter and reliever. Has spent the past 2 season at Lawson State Community College as an assistant, 1 season as pitching coach. Currently completing his bachelor degree in Kinesiology. Born and raised in Aspinwall, PA - a suburb of Pittsburgh.
