Mr. Mitchell is a graduate and Trustee of Denison University. He is also President of the First Financial Group. He has provided the funding for the Settlers during the five years of the organization's existence.

A major supprter of the Licking County United Way, Mr. Mitchell has donated all proceeds to help the local community.
